Volkswagen Electric Vehicle Concept Teased Before Ces 2016
German automaker Volkswagen is preparing an electric Microbus concept car to present it at the international exhibition of electronics CES-2016. Novelty developed based on the model of Bulli.
According to preliminary information, the new minivan from Volkswagen will remind model Microbus, which was popular in the 60s of the last century. Concept will be equipped with an electric motor and a set of lithium-ion batteries, borrowed from models of Audi. On a single charge novelty able to travel up to 500 kilometers. Microbus will equip turbo engine with four-cylinder engine that will run on diesel fuel and gasoline. Presentation of the prototype Volkswagen Microbus will be held during the motor show Electronics in Los Angeles. It is planned that the serial production of the updated Microbus launch a couple of years in Mexico, and at the same time the official sales start.
